Bingo Winner Overlooked by Caller

Mrs Uda Banks a seventy year old bingo player from Coventry, was playing bingo at her local Gala Bingo Club in Coventry, where she has been a member for many years, when she called on a game for a prize of £9,000 and claims that she was ignored by the caller, who continued calling and allowed another player to win the prize.

She stated that she was sitting nearby the caller and had previously won £10, so the caller could definitely hear her. When her last number for the full house was called she was shocked and shouted bingo. She also claims that the caller looked at her and then carried on calling the game.

She is very disappointed by this outcome as everyone else at the bingo club also thought that she had won and were telling her to claim her prize. The mother of seven has instituted a dispute and Gala Bingo has informed the Gambling Commission, and they will be conducting a full investigation into the claim.

Mrs. Banks daughter is also very put out, she says that her mother has been playing for years, just waiting for a big win like this and all Gala Bingo has to do is play the CCV footage of the hall to realise the outcome.
