When Carlton Bingo was seeking to fund rapid growth, like all of they had to approach their bankers. Carlton bingo operates out of North-east England and Scotland an in 1997 they were bought out by their management. The management team was backed by Dunedin, a private equity firm and the Bank of Scotland. Five years later management bought out the equity interest in the bingo group through another loan, this time from the well known Lloyds TSB.

Carlton Bingo Managing Director, Peter Perrins said that there were a number of banks who were interested in the deal at the time however Llloyds made them an offer they could not refuse, hence the reason for taking the loan from them to buy out the private equity holdings in the business.

Two years later Carlton bingo management went back to the bank, they again wanted to augment their holdings and purpose build two flat-floor bingo clubs, this needed an investment of ₤14 million and again Llloyds provided them with the funds as they had continued to meet their obligations on the previous debt. He suggeststhat all bingo operations should have good lasting relationships with their bankers. I agree!

Amidst many complaints, Bingo Vega is beginning to look like a super bingo scam.

When reading over the tips on finding a reputable online bingo site, there are several warning signs of a scamming company. Some tipsters recommend finding the location of the company. This does not always guarantee a legitimate company, or well run one at that.

If you are looking for a site to play, and don’t care much about how much you invest, nor how much of your winnings you can cash out – Bingo Vega may be the site for you. However, most play bingo to win big. Those big winnings better be able to be cashed out as well. This won’t likely be the case with Bingo Vega.

Examples of several different types of diversions were used on a single player. The player began with an initial deposit, and was rewarded by the ever-popular advertised draw of a bonus. The player then wagered as much as the initial deposit and hit a $1000 prize line on a slot game. With the winning slot line, the player’s profits stood at over $1200.

Despite the amounts of wagered money being equal to the initial deposit, as well as the bonus award, as soon as the player requested a mere $500 cash return – the bonus was removed from the account. None of the bonus money had been deposited to the players active account, therefore all winnings were a result of the personal money deposit made at registration.

Then after a waiting period to allow the processing of the request, the money was put back into the players betting account. When the player questioned this, the response given was that the wagers must reach $4,500 before withdrawal.

The player took that advice, and continued playing until they met the required amount. The cash left in the account was at $800. When the player again requested a payout, the Bingo Vega Company tried to claim that the player had set up more than one account, and was therefore ineligible to cash out from the account.

The IP address obtained by the player that was supposed to be another account in their name was located in a different state – therefore not possibly the same player. This person never received their money, but was at least kind enough to contact the Bingo Players Union to warn others against this fraudulent site.

Play Bingo Vega for fun if you are just looking for bingo rooms. Avoid it at all costs if you want to win money – so it doesn’t end up costing you a fortune!

It never ceases to surprise me at just how generous bingo playing mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, siblings and friends can be. The sharing stories go on and on and never seem to stop.

Just such as this recent winner of the National Bingo. The fifty-seven year old Grandmother plays a regular fortnightly game of bingo with her mother at the Gala Bingo Club in Surrey Quay Leisure Park, Redriff Road. This time they were in luck, during the Afternoon delight game, the lucky winner struck it rich winning £17 500. She has an agreement with her mum that if either one of them wins, they will share the prize money.

The winner said that she didn’t believe it at first and was overcome with nerves that made her fee quite shaky. The admin assistant, who lives in Shooters Hill, has been playing bingo at the Gala for six years as the club is close to where her mother lives. The grandmother of one; has two sons and intends to use her share of the winnings to treat her sons and have her bathroom newly fitted out. She claims that she is still really shocked over the win and won’t quite believe it until she has the cheque in her hands.
