The management team was backed by Dunedin, a private equity firm and the Bank of Scotland. Police Chief Proud of Force After Armed Robbery in Gala Bingo Club

Both Detective Constable Gareth Hamer and Detective Sergeant Ben McDonald were honoured and given awards for their investigative expertise in obtaining convictions against the three armed robbers. Friday, May 2nd, 2008A Driffield woman, Sandra Ann Preston was found to have defrauded her workplace out of approximately ₤60 000 to support her online bingo addiction. This is apparently just a guestimate and the true figure is not yet known. The forty-one year old woman worked as a manager of the Eling Ltd petrol station which sells Total fuel, and she would transfer money from the business directly into her bank account from the PayPoint outlet at the garage.
