Mecca Bingo Sheffield recently hosted a special birthday party for some of their members. It was quite by coincidence that the manager of the bingo club discovered that they had more than thirty club members all named June, so at the beginning of June she decided to host a special party for all of the members named June. In effect at the Mecca Bingo Club Sheffield, June WAS busting out all over.

The bingo club on Penistone Road also found that they had members named April and May and they decided to invite them also, so they threw a VIP party with champagne, special games of bingo a cabaret and goody bags for all the ladies present. This even managed to attract five Junes and three Mays but unfortunately no Aprils showed up.

None of the ladies knew each other by name before the Mecca bingo June party, but once the event was over, June Shaw, seventy-six, June Ward, seventy one, June Fletcher, sixty, June Peet, fifty-nine and June Ward, seventy-one all became firm friends. Even the Mays felt really special and thought that it was a lovely idea, and from now on all the Junes and the Mays know each other well and will be chatting to each other. What a lovely idea this was to introduce people who never knew each other before. It can only come from bingo!
