Shipley’s Bingo Goes Online

Shipleys bingo has gone online, you might be familiar with the brand, after all if you have ever played games in the local high street amusement arcade, chances are that it was probably owned by Shipleys.

They also operate luxury land based bingo halls in Weoley Castle, Redditch and Kidderminster as well as being the company that runs the BJ Bingo halls in Reading and Birmingham.

To keep up with the times, Shipleys bingo has gone online in partnership with the ever popular bingo software developer St. Minver. The concern is that it is not one of the big brand names and Shipleys are not likely to attract people to play on their site unless the spend some time and money marketing this online brand and offering large jackpots like the big brand names.

That is some pretty stiff competition, and brands like Gala, Mecca and Betfred are leaps ahead of the pack when it comes down to having access to huge database pools to draw from, from their land based memberships.

But you never know, we might still be surprised by Shipleys, only time will tell. They have got all that they need in terms of a site and if it appeals to a specific market, anything could happen.
