Due to a District councilor getting involved in a social club re-development, an important part of the live of the elderly at Alexander gardens has been saved, their bingo. Councillor Mike Soley recently held talks with the managers of Festival Housing, they had plans to redevelop the bingo and social club that elderly people depended upon for their entertainment.
